An 80-year-old asymptomatic woman came to your office for medical checkup. Her BP was 165/75 mmHg. Her BMI is 22 kg/m2 and her examination is unremarkable. She has nothing on blood test and her urinalysis is negative for protein. She has no known cardiovascular disease. Her BP has been ranging from 150 to 170 mmHg systolic for the past few years. She has not been treated with medication to date.
